This is my second order of bacon flavored olive oil! It didn’t initially taste like what I recall as bacon, however, when I cooked with it (sautéed onions, potatoes, cabbage and kale), it truly enhanced the flavor and gave an added depth to the taste, as bacon does. As soon as I began to get to the end of the bottle, I re-ordered it. Can’t imagine cooking without it now. I love it and it will continue to be a staple with my vegetables and sautéed soup and bean ingredients!

Really brings out the flavor of vegetables when you cook with it. I use it all the time with Brussel sprouts and garlic.

What I’m missing in this oil is that wonderful bacon aroma. But, the lack of bacon smell is a bit deceiving, because once you add the oil to your recipe/food, you do actually get some bacon flavor. I’d recommend it and encourage you to experiment with the amount you use.
