-2 pounds green beans, stems removed.
-1/4 Sonoma Farm Traditional Barrel Aged Balsamic Vinegar
-1/2 pound sliced smoked bacon, cut into 1/2-inch pieces.
-1 medium yellow onion, peeled and thinly sliced.
-1/4 cup coarsely chopped Italian parsley.

Bring a large pot of heavily salted water to a boil. Meanwhile, prepare an ice water bath by filling a bowl halfway with ice and water.

In a large frying pan set over medium heat, cook bacon until it starts to brown. Add onion and cook until it caramelizes and turns golden.
Add reserved green beans, Sonoma Farm Balsamic vinegar, and cook. Mix in parsley and season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.

This recipe is outstanding. It has all of my favorite ingredients: bacon, balsamic vinegar. My three year old son also loved it because it was a good mixture of sweet and salt.
