Toast Appetizer White Balsamic Herb Recipe
Ingredients:
4 (1/2-inch-thick) slices multigrain bread
1 teaspoon Sonoma Farm Extra Olive Oil
1 1/2 ounces thinly sliced shallots
1 1/2 tablespoons chopped parsley
1 tablespoon thinly sliced zucchini
1 teaspoon Sonoma Farm White Balsamic Vinegar
1 1/2 ounces Mascarpone Cheese
Steps:
Preheat broiler to high. Broil multigrain bread until edges begin to brown. Heat extra virgin olive oil in a skillet over medium-high. Add thinly sliced shallots and zucchini; cook, stirring often, until crisp and brown, 3 to 5 minutes. Remove from heat; stir in chopped parsley, white balsamic vinegar, and spread mascarpone cheese on toast. Divide mixture among toasts. Broil until cheese melts, about 2 minutes.
