Olive Oil Lemon Cake Recipe

Ingredients:

-7 oz Plain flour
-2 tsp Baking powder
-5 oz  Sugar
-2 Eggs

Preparation:

  • Preheat oven to 350F. Grease and flour a cake tin.
  • Mix flour and baking powder in a bowl. Add the sugar, eggs, olive oil. Using electric beaters, beat until smooth.
  • Pour the cake batter in the tin.
  • Bake for 30 minutes or until a skewer inserted in the centre comes out clean. Remove cake from the oven and leave to cool slightly; turn out onto a wire rack
